Is surfing in Uluwatu safe for beginners?

Safety is our top priority. Our lessons are led by certified local instructors, and we carefully assess and explain conditions before entering the water. Beginners are never taken to big breaks or dangerous conditions.

Where do the surf lessons take place?

Surf lesson locations depend on your level, swell, wind and tide. We select the best and safest surf spot in the Uluwatu area each day to ensure optimal learning conditions.

Do i need previous surfing experience? 

No experience is needed for our beginner surf lessons. For our intermediate and longboarding lessons, you should already feel comfortable paddling, catching waves and controlling your board.

What should i bring to a surf lesson in Uluwatu?

We recommend that you bring:

Swimwear, Towel, Sunscreen, Water, Cash.

We provide all necessary surf equipment. 

How long is a surf lesson? 

Our surf lessons usually last around 2 hours, including warm-up, ocean safety briefing and time in the water. If you would like a longer session, just let us know during booking!
